Technical Skills:
Strong experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud management tools.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration tools.
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) best practices and tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Bash, or Groovy for automation and process optimization.
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible) and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Understanding of networking, load balancing, and high-availability architectures.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and handling repositories and branching strategies.
Good to have:
Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies.
Knowledge of monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, New Relic).
Experience with serverless architectures and management of serverless computing environments.
Exposure to automated testing frameworks and practices.
Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
Certification in DevOps tools or cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Roles and Responsibilities:
Automate and streamline the deployment processes, from code development to production, by creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure that development and production environments are aligned and optimized.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, infrastructure, and deployments, ensuring minimal downtime.
Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health of the system and proactive issue detection.
Work with security teams to ensure the integrity and security of the infrastructure and applications.
Improve infrastructure automation and reliability by utilizing modern infrastructure-as-code techniques.
Maintain high standards for performance, availability, and security in the deployment pipeline.
Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational problems in a timely manner.
Continuously explore new technologies and tools to improve the DevOps processes and efficiency.
