Microsoft for Startups recently held an event called “Highway to 100 Unicorns” which offered entrepreneurs an opportunity to access cutting-edge tools, resources, and expertise that can aid in business growth. The event featured a Microsoft Accelerator program, which aimed to identify and support high-potential technology entrepreneurs. The program included an interactive conference and an event called Emerge X, which aimed to identify innovative entrepreneurs in each country where Microsoft operates.
Greenovative, an Indian-based energy and sustainability solutions provider, has been recognized by Microsoft for its innovative work in the energy sector. The company was chosen by Microsoft as one of the top-ranking winners of the Emerge X event, which aims to empower and recognize technology startups that are driving innovation in the energy and sustainability industry.
As a winner, Greenovative was granted access to a range of benefits, including CEO mentoring, team culture development, talent recruitment, distribution channels with international Fortune 500 companies, and new market creation. Additionally, the company was given the opportunity to join the Microsoft Scaleup Program, which provided the company with access to a Founder Bootcamp, workshops, monthly webinars with startup ecosystem influencers, and media coverage.
Winning the Emerge X event enabled Greenovative to leverage Microsoft’s vast global network of clients, collaborators, VCs, business mentors, and technical specialists as a strategic partner. The company also developed close relationships with key decision-makers who were in search of innovative solutions to give their businesses an edge.
